Suggested System Requirements

For OPTIMUM use of any internet software, we recommend that you have:

[If you are going to upgrade your existing modem...we recommend that you purchase a US ROBOTICS SPORTSTER INTERNAL MODEM. These are the most highly recommended modems for high-speed connectivity]

Dialling PegaNet

1. If you do not have a dedicated modem line, make sure you do not have "call wating" enabled on your phone line. This will cause your modem to disconnect you from PegaNet if you should receive an incoming call.

Check with your phone company to see if you have the option to disable "call waiting". If you do, enter the code for that (i.e *70) as the prefix of your dial-up connection.

If you are using the PegaNet software, this would be at the dial screen. Click on "phone", then enter prefix in the appropriate field.

2. PegaNet does NOT restrict your account in any way. We do NOT charge extra for "prime time" connections.

Therefore...IF you should experience a busy signal...during the popular hours of 8:pm to 11:pm...LET YOUR SCRIPT RE-DIAL!

The PegaNet software is configured to re-dial as to guarantee you the next available line.

[NOTE: If you are using Windows 95 Dialler, you can set it to re-dial by:
On Your Desktop, Click on "My Computer"
Then Click on "Dial-Up Network"
Highlight PegaNet...And At The Menu Selections On Top, Click On "Connections" Then "Settings"
Click The Re-Dial Box To Enable Redialling And Set the Number At 99
Leave all Other Numbers At Zeros.
DRAG The PegaNet Icon Onto Your Desktop.]
That's It!

From Now On, USE This Short-Cut To Access Your Dialler...And You Will Have The Capability To Re-Dial. DO NOT directly click on Your Browser Such As Netscape Or Internet Explorer. Wait Until You Are Connected To PegaNet.
